Router is by far the best by on the market. Easy to use, many options, lots of power.Free shipping was a little slow though.
I got the refund which was less than what I paid for the router originally. I waited.no router.
The first time I attempted to use it, the plunge slide bars disengaged from the base. Small retaining washers fell off the plunge stop.
The Black & Decker Plunge Router is a piece of junk. The repair shop told me I would receive a new router in about 10 days.
I attempted to repair these things to no avail. I returned the router to a local DeWlat B&D repair facility who sent it back to the factory.
I called DeWalt B&D and they told me they stopped making this router and I would receive a refund. That's the LAST B&D tool I'll ever buy.
This product works great and I am very happy with it although I wish I would have known I can't use it on a router table because now I have a router table I can't use
I needed a plunge router to make some keyhole slots and this unit fit the bill. After some practice with it (I had never used a plunge router) I found it is well designed and cuts beautifully. Didn't have any problems setting it up, I am completely satisfied with it.
So, I give it only 3 stars. First off, this is not a professional woodworkers tool. But, it is a good router for the handyman who needs a basic routing tool to start up his shop. This router is a good tool to start with because it is economical; it has a fairly strong motor with variable speed (for different applications); B&D bits are inexpensive; and it has a plunge feature for accuracy and versatility. For the price, it's a bargain.
